Conjured Chaos

(continued from the Scrap Rabbit discography part 3)

Fireball was the 13th Cd to (fall down the rabbit can). Features songs such as Static Form (a.k.a. the umbrella anthem), and On The Run, which was used for the Scrap Rabbit Tape-ograpy.

The albums opening line "Where fears come alive, no one to blame" Indicates one should be in charge of their fears. 

"Vodgeny" was the second single off the "Haunted Halloween Hits" album. Which includes the acoustic rendition of "Cemetery Gloom" and "Tinfoil Rocket ship".

 It also featured a collision of "Halloween Day vs Hallow Night" featuring parts of both orchestrations transformed into one massive mega mix. The song "Vodgeny" itself was inspired by an abandoned house I went to that was torn down just after my second photo shoot there.

 The 2 photos after this sentence contain  weird streams of light. 

These were the only ones taken so I can't prove much with them.

Currently that is why there is no "Vodgeny" music video. This place no longer exists. Finally the single features a "Scrap Sampler" which samples 26 SR songs in a 5 minute mix.

One of my interests has always been abandoned places and junkyards. Because they're an art of they're own.

Acoustic Accusations was then made as an unplugged collection. The imagery and music resembles an aquarium. I've always found the deep sea fascinating with all the types of fish and underwater plants. Though I don't fish I stabbed a hook through the back of my head by accident.

Continuing Chaos (part 2)

Arachnid is the first single off the "Haunted Halloween Hits" Cd. The cover is a drawing of a spider on an arachnid dartboard fighting another spider over trick or treat candy. 3 tracks on the single are music videos. 

 The purpose of this Cd is to highlight a couple mixes and B sides to promote the song.

Rabid Remixes III- The third and final album of the RR series is a cryptic collection of mixes and new songs that go with the booklet.

Discarded Remains is a collection of odds n ends that didn't fit into the concepts of the previous albums. 

Desolate Mass Waste is the most obscure album of the Scrap Rabbit series. Containing lyrics from a more playful perspective. Featuring songs like "Here Is Now, Life In Over-drive, Don't Let Me Down, and The Cage." The album is childlike and contains rather addictive tracks with an upbeat attitude. Different versions of this cover were made and the booklet also contained an obscure gallery with the lyrics. 

 The Deflection single is very unique. It contains numerous renditions of the song that I later turned into music videos. The B-sides are also cool. Sign Our Treaties, Waste Of Time, and Disarray accompany this Cd. The artwork folds out like a yellow arrow with rivers changing direction. 

Also I used to write book reports for a friend for extra credit so as a joke I'd use the word deflection like 6 times in each one to make it sound funny as he read it out loud and turned it in which was in my handwriting that was neater. Later decided the idea of the song was too good to pass up for my project. Thus the legendary Deflection twas born. Several version of the video can be found below, you just have to map them out.

Creating Chaos

I enjoy doing performances even if only for myself. It's my escape from the world. As an outsider it gives me a chance to tell my ideas and create something unique.

Here's a pic of the original "Tour Of Chaos" set list -VHS

The 2015 version is shorter and contains a better set list each containing a link to the next track on vimeo.

The video title plays a spin off to the debut album "Circle Of Chaos" which hosts a picture of a tree sprouting garbage from it's branches instead of leaves. Marking the resemblance of a contaminated world where the soil is littered creating the circle of life uprooted into chaos. 

It's portrayal depicts the symbolism of recycling as the obscure subliminal of all Scrap Rabbit videos. Ironically I requested a girl in a garbage can letter to star in one not knowing she was married resulted in getting dislikes and the authority being called on me. The opening line in the album "What tis magical Fear? Glimpse inside of a rabbit can." represents that symbolism in a way.

Thus the concept of the first album may have missed it's focal point along the way. When scaled back it is better found.

It's on the second album "Rabid Remixes" where you find that the can on the cover of the first album is the home to the Scrap Rabbit on the cover of the second. Which ties the relation between them as the first 2 collectibles in the series. 

The Energy Storm cover portrays the rabbit's master standing in the fog creating storms to fight the chaos thus withering upon the crop of the following album "Put Out To Pasture" which the image is a reaper of the night standing in a cornfield acting as a scarecrow waiting to begin it's ritual. Which is the entire orchestration of the album. Conjuring up various ghouls and monsters for the next album "Haunted Halloween Hits. " The idea of this reality portrays the image of "the mowing devil" on the Rabid Remixes II cover where it incites the tale of harvesting decay and crop circles. And finally the chapter is concluded with "The Dissembler" which sums up various parts of the first 6 albums as a "hits" collection connecting the dots with a few new songs added.

I'm The Rabid Hase

Maximum: Melon Cone

Below is a design of the Melon Cone: A club I wanted to create for performers.

The obscure lyrics of the Scrap Rabbit song "Melon Cone" from the Dumpster Divers & The Receptacle Kings album are a scrambling of 2 terms reversed. Like if it was made to make sense the lyrics would fit like:

Pigeon Toed - cross eyed

finger less - earlobes

buck toothed - flake flea

rabbit foot - Bulls Eye!

I spy in the sky

Melon Clouds good bye.

But the actual lyrics are:

Pigeon Eyed- Cross Toed
