Conquering Chaos

The War Machine was my gangster era and was made on my synthesizer. The lyrics underline mob twists in several tracks with the opening line in "Bullets", 'I have not and never have been with the mafia', repeating the phrase as if trying to convince a jury.

Not only is "The War Machine" a gangster story, but it also has some romance tied under it. I felt passion towards movies like "The Godfather, and Scarface, and enjoyed the idea of making something gangster for the series.

The distorted vocals and synthetic tones encompass the music through the half hour journey. I also designed a board game to go with the album. The cover image is below. Which would be cool to go into a collector box set.

The Thorn Of Hearts track really doesn't tie so much into the concept of the album but still sounds fitting and was made with the other music still.

These images are from "The War Machine photo shoot" which was also done as a sort of Goth Gangster.

Also the line on Head Confusion "punch in the back, and dive in the neck, the others awaken; no where to go anymore." refers to a fight among 2 mob sticks taking place in one of their homes.

On Savage Lie the line 'the mouthing of tongue thrown into fire, a roam tonight you'll see the liar, you're a savage lie, a savage lie, I bid good bye don't ever try to control my...' references one revealing info from the 'family' and having to get "Whacked" for it.

This is the main logo of the album. An old style Caddie, with it's symbol placed just behind it.

The song "The War Machine" shows the video where greed is battled and the mob boss is shot down and killed. thus ending the album in a tragic way.

"Little War Machine" was made from a few of the scrap outtakes made from the main album. However this EP was never intended to be released. As seen below. It would just match for a free download only thing.

The first music video made for the album.

The Collector of Lost Souls then surfaced only a week later. It was the epic conclusion to 2012 with the unique "Commando" as the opening to the album.

The Cd held much significance. I turned all 15 songs into music videos. Thus with the release it would nice to have the DVD included.

The reason it only tapped at half an hour was because I had run low on recording space, but in this case half an hour is fulfilling. the cover looks as a 6 but it's what I call a seizure circle. The circle I always draw over my right eye.

The album didn't have much artwork because the cost was so expensive to do homemade booklets. On an official release of the album though I'd like a nice booklet with the bonus mix of Cold World included.

The album was very visual sounding. And had elements of acoustic and industrial progression mixed into it.
